Utah Based / Working Nationwide
Professional Services Lead Generation
Senior-led strategy and practical execution for the part of your growth system that needs attention. Clear scope, useful work, and a scoreboard tied to the business.
Blackout helps professional-services firms build an inbound lead generation system around qualified opportunities. We connect service positioning, SEO and AI-search visibility, helpful content, conversion paths, and sales follow-up. Based in Lehi, Utah, we work remotely with firms across the United States.
More inquiries are not the same as a healthier pipeline.
A consulting firm can fill its inbox with job seekers. An accounting firm can attract one-off tax questions when it needs ongoing advisory clients. A technical-services company can get plenty of interest from companies it cannot profitably serve. The chart goes up; the actual problem stays put.
We start by defining the inquiry worth earning: the right organization, a problem you solve, a realistic buying situation, and a next step your team can handle. Then we build the acquisition work around that definition.
What We Work On
Positioning & Search Intent
Separate people buying your service from people researching a career, looking for a template, or trying to do the work themselves. Map service, problem, comparison, and cost questions to the page best suited to answer them.
SEO & AI Search
Improve crawl access, service-page clarity, internal links, and attributable expertise. Build substantive answers to buyer questions and support important claims with evidence. No made-up locations or promises of AI recommendations.
Review the deliverables and boundaries of our SEO + AI Search consulting before choosing a scope.
Conversion & Qualification
Make scope, fit, pricing context, and the next step easy to understand. Ask enough in the inquiry form to start a useful conversation without turning it into an interrogation.
Pipeline Measurement
Connect sources and landing pages to accepted opportunities, proposals, and clients. Record why leads are rejected. Review the same lead cohort through its buying cycle rather than comparing this month's inquiries with unrelated sales.
A Practical First 90 Days
- Establish the baseline. Review existing search data, inquiries, service economics, sales capacity, and tracking. Identify which buyer problems deserve attention first.
- Repair the path. Improve the relevant service pages, qualification, proof, and internal links. Publish supporting answers where a genuine information gap exists.
- Learn from actual inquiries. Compare query intent with lead quality. Expand useful topics, revise mismatched ones, and review sales feedback before increasing the scope.
This is a planning sequence, not a promise that an entire acquisition system will be completed or produce clients in 90 days. The agreed scope, access, competition, and your team's implementation capacity determine the schedule.
Choose the Right Scoreboard
We distinguish a valid inquiry, a qualified opportunity, a sales-accepted opportunity, and a won client. Those are four different things. For a longer sales cycle, track time to first response and progression as well as completed sales.
Try the math before hiring anyone. Our free Lead Cost Calculator separates cost per inquiry, qualified opportunity, and customer. Basic results are ungated. A review request does not silently subscribe you to marketing emails.
Is This the Right Fit?
This work fits consulting, accounting, advisory, staffing, and other expertise-led firms with a real offer, delivery capacity, and a willingness to share the numbers. It is not a purchased lead list, a guaranteed-appointment package, or a substitute for validating a service nobody wants yet.
Benjamin Nieporte leads Blackout's strategy, drawing on 18+ years in digital growth. You get a senior point of contact and a scope matched to the constraint. See current engagements and pricing before reaching out; we can discuss a focused starting point rather than assume you need a large retainer.
Questions Before You Start
Can this work outside Utah?
Yes. National engagements are delivered remotely. Research follows your buyers and actual service coverage, not Blackout's home address. We retain a Utah base without claiming offices in cities where we do not operate.
Do we need paid ads?
No. We can scope an organic-first engagement around existing content, service pages, technical access, useful resources, and relevant third-party visibility. Paid media is optional and separately scoped; organic acquisition still requires time and operating budget.
How quickly should we expect leads?
Existing demand and conversion fixes may create opportunities sooner than a new search program. Competitive organic visibility generally needs sustained work over months. We set a baseline and review progress without guaranteeing a ranking, citation, or number of clients.
