What Your Shopify Website Project Can Include
A good Shopify build starts with the customer journey, not a list of apps. We agree the scope around your catalog, content, conversion goals and existing systems before development begins.
Website Design & Theme Development
Brand-aligned layouts, responsive navigation, reusable Shopify sections, and clear product, collection or service templates. We prioritize accessible contrast, readable content and straightforward editing so your team can maintain the site after launch.
Shopify SEO & AI Search Readiness
A page-to-intent map, descriptive titles and headings, useful buying guidance, crawlable internal links, canonical checks and structured data that matches visible facts. For a redesign, preserve useful URLs and map redirects before launch. SEO and AEO share this foundation; neither a new theme nor extra schema guarantees rankings or AI citations.
Explore our SEO + AI Search consulting for a defined organic-search scope, or use the Shopify collection SEO audit guide to review product discovery, filters and buying guidance.
Marketing & Measurement Readiness
Connect the website to the next customer action: an inquiry or a purchase. Review existing analytics and consent before adding tracking, distinguish contact-page interest from submitted inquiries, and scope Google Ads or Meta Ads separately from the website build.
A Defined Launch & Handoff
The agreed deliverables can include a page inventory, design and content review, tested templates, a redirect plan where needed, mobile and form checks, search-discovery checks, and an editing handoff. Third-party apps, subscriptions, custom integrations and ongoing optimization are identified separately in the proposal.
Utah-Based, Built for Nationwide Customers
We are based in Lehi and serve businesses in the Salt Lake City, Provo and wider Utah markets, with remote collaboration available throughout the United States. Your site should reflect where you genuinely operate and deliver—not imply offices or local inventory you do not have.
Planning a new build or redesign? Bring your current URL, catalog or service list, required features, available content and target launch date. Those inputs determine scope, budget and timing. Explore our Engagement Options or discuss your Shopify website.
Plan Your Build With a Clear Brief
Before choosing a theme or committing to a rebuild, compare scope, content responsibilities, search safeguards and launch acceptance criteria. Read our Shopify website design and development buyer’s guide for a practical planning checklist. If the foundation is already sound, our Shopify conversion optimization guide can help you prioritize a focused refresh.

Shopify Consulting in Utah & Nationwide
Blackout Marketing & Consulting is based in Lehi, Utah. We work with businesses across Utah, including the Salt Lake City and Provo areas, and collaborate remotely with ecommerce teams throughout the United States. Service coverage is not a claim of offices in each city.
Bring your store URL, main products, growth goals and the problem you want to solve. We can help decide whether a focused improvement, a broader rebuild or a measurement review is the right starting point. Scope and fees are agreed before implementation; see our Engagement Options.
Shopify Growth Questions
Can you improve my existing Shopify store without rebuilding it?
Yes. We first review the current theme, apps, navigation and purchase journey. When the foundation is usable, focused product-page, collection, speed or messaging improvements may be more appropriate than a full rebuild.
What is included in a Shopify growth review?
The agreed review can cover the customer journey, product and collection clarity, mobile usability, search visibility, acquisition economics and measurement gaps. The output is a prioritized set of findings and next steps; implementation and ongoing management are scoped separately.
How quickly can Shopify SEO and AEO improvements work?
Technical and usability fixes can be deployed once tested, but discovery, indexing and ranking changes take time and are not guaranteed. Timing depends on competition, the store’s history, content quality and crawl activity. We measure progress using relevant search traffic and business outcomes, not a promised ranking deadline.
Can every Shopify checkout be customized?
No. Available changes depend on the Shopify plan, supported apps and extensions. We check those constraints before proposing checkout work. Advanced checkout customization may require Shopify Plus; a theme change alone does not unlock it.
Do I need Google Ads and Meta Ads at the same time?
Not necessarily. Channel selection depends on demand, the offer, creative resources and customer economics. A focused test with a clear landing page and measurement plan can be more useful than splitting a small budget across too many campaigns.
How do you judge whether store changes are helping?
We look at purchase conversion alongside average order value, new-customer acquisition cost, returns and contribution margin. Comparisons account for traffic mix, promotions and seasonality. A higher conversion rate alone does not establish more profit.
